What is ABC?

ABC is America's Boating Course, our safe boating class that prepares you for Florida’s boating ID test.

The Next ABC (America's Boating Course) class is scheduled for Saturday December 13th, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Join our ABC boating class to get ready for the Florida safe boating ID test and gain confidence on the water. This one day nationally approved, recognized course is offered to the Public and Power Squadron members. Students over the age of 12 years can take this course. Upon successful completion of the class, the student will have met the requirements of the state of Florida to apply for their Florida State Safe Boating ID card. The next Vero Beach Power Squadron (VBPS) ABC Boating Class will be Saturday December 13th, 2025 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
