ABC Boating Class

The Next ABC (America's Boating Course) class is scheduled for Saturday March , 2026 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Join our ABC boating class to get ready for the Florida safe boating ID test and gain confidence on the water. This one day nationally approved, recognized course is offered to the Public and Power Squadron members. Students over the age of 12 years can take this course. Upon successful completion of the class, the student will have met the requirements of the state of Florida to apply for their Florida State Safe Boating ID card. The next Vero Beach Power Squadron (VBPS) ABC Boating Class will be Saturday March, 2026 from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The cost for the course is $25.00/person or $60.00 for a family. The purchase of the text book is optional at $35.00. We recommend that you pick up the textbook before the class so that you can read the lesson materials ahead of time (we cover a lot of information during the class). Payment is accepted by cash or check.

Kayaking Trips

Spend the first Saturday of the month kayaking with fellow members, exploring local waterways and enjoying nature.

Spoil Island Trips

Periodically we do "Beach Up" Trips to a local spoil island. Pack a cooler and beach gear, and come hang out with us. You are welcome to ride along with one of our members or bring your own boat. Contact us for the next date and location.
